Position Overview

This exciting role is part of a fast paced, sales orientated team in a large multi-national company.  The role offers a broad variety of responsibilities including international liaising and great learning opportunities.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by cultivating strong working relationships with customers and supplying factories.  Responsibilities including quotations, managing customer orders including customized/project orders, and updating SAP and customer with acknowledgements and order status
  • Assist with contract administration, including monitoring/updating period contract price reviews to the customer and in SAP, ensuring orders/stock/supply comply with contract requirements, and maintaining contract database
  • Liaise with factories regarding our purchase orders as required in collaboration with supply chain
  • Maintain current and new materials in SAP as required
  • Assist and backup Internal Sales Manager as required (reports, forecasts, coordinate material modifications etc.).  Support external Sales Team and ensure their compliance to procedures, etc
  • Carry out the roles and responsibilities as detailed in the company’s quality, safety and environment policies and procedures.  Commitment to the company’s quality, safety and environment and proactively report any risks and issues.  Understand the company mission, vision, policies, objectives and other requirements of the quality, safety and environment management system.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of HSC and 5 years relevant experience
  • High level organisational skills
  • High level Microsoft Office application
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Accurate numeric skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, plan ahead and follow up
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Flexible with good people skills
  • Enjoy fast paced, team orientated environment
  • SAP experience - preferable
