The key function of the Sales Manager will be to manage the day to day operations of the business through managing the sales activities associated with business in multiple regions. The focus of the role will be the development and implementation of the sales plan including coordinating marketing activities and managing an existing sales team. The role will also manage relationships with key customers, shareholder representatives and dairy industry stakeholders.
To be successful, you will need to be highly motivated and organised, able to operate autonomously, while still working in a close, supportive team environment. As well as having a demonstrated agribusiness sales and or marketing background, you will have strong interpersonal/relationship management skills, including written and verbal communication skills. You will also be a strong negotiator and have the ability to work closely with suppliers to ensure the business is getting the best value, price and service from its supply partners. You will be self-motivated, an enthusiastic team player and possess the ability to lead, build and motivate your team.
A remuneration package commensurate with experience and skill will be negotiated to secure a results driven candidate for this position.
