The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join the Dulux Trade Sales Team servicing highly valued accounts through a range of sectors in the greater Brisbane & SE QLD trade market.

As part of a high performing team, you will proactively drive sales and seek out new business opportunities as well as manage, defend and extend our advocacy with an existing portfolio of key accounts operating in multiple trade sectors.  Your client base will primarily consist of decorative painting applicators as well as involvement with multiple stakeholders including architects, builders, asset managers and developers.

This role is a highly prized position within the broader Dulux Trade business and will suit someone who thrives in challenging environments working towards clear objectives and goals with strong planning skills in a supportive and structured environment.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional key account management experience and sales professionalism
  • Strong personal brand that will enable you to influence favourable outcomes for your accounts, products and services  
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to influence in a highly competitive market by using your exceptional relationship building ability
  • Exceptional project and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills across a diverse platform of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly engaged and adaptable Technical paint product knowledge or closely related product such as coatings.
