About Us

Unisite Group was founded in 2006. We have grown to become one of Australia's leading providers of leisure and outdoor product solutions to local government, education providers, tourist parks and private enterprise e.g. construction companies, property developers and landscape architects.

We are now leaders in several categories including innovative street & park outdoor furniture, drinking fountains, shelters and outdoor electric BBQs. Unisite Group is the parent company of the following brands:

The Role

This is a new business development role created due to the almost unlimited opportunities for growth in the Sydney metropolitan area, regional NSW and the ACT. The territory is currently managed by a Queensland-based BDM so we have well-established relationships with a long list of current customers. Further development of those existing relationships and growing sales to existing customers represents 20% of the required activities. The other 80% is the critical piece – prospecting and hunting for new customers to achieve the agreed revenue growth targets in the territory. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your activities will include;

  • Identify all new customer acquisition targets by segment
  • Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels within the potential customer base
  • Research sources for developing prospects and to determine their potential sales value and profitability
  • Follow-up leads provided by the Internal Sales & Marketing Team
  • Carry out prospecting/new business development activities
  • Travel within the state to complete face to face prospecting activities
  • Present Unisite Group products and solutions to industry bodies and groups at industry functions & events
  • Develop and maintain required sales revenue pipeline to ensure achievement of sales growth targets
  • Execute an agreed contact plan to provide a high level and standard of service to existing customers
  • Complete and submit on time all required reports on sales & marketing activities, sales forecasts, new business opportunities, competitor activity and other information as directed

Expected Outcomes

Win targeted new business in line with agreed segment-specific objectives.

  • Government – major emphasis on local government (councils) plus federal & state government e.g. military/parks, prisons and open space under state government control
  • Education – all levels
  • Tourism/Accommodation/Clubs
  • Construction – including architects/landscape architects/designers and other sub-segments that either specify or procure street & park furniture and/or BBQs (specifiers)
