The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced relationship and business development professional who can work part time (three days per week) to strategically drive the IML Member community across Tasmania.  

Reporting to IML's Head of Relationships VIC & TAS and working in collaboration with the local IML Regional Advisory Committee, you will be responsible for:

Member Acquisition and Growth 

  • Promote Membership growth through IML products, services, Membership categories, and Chartered Manager designation.
  • Grow the number of Chartered Managers, from both within the Member base and outside.
  • Identify opportunities to engage Members and raise the IML profile.

Member Relations and Retention

  • Manage the key relationship strategies that will position IML as the leading Member organisation for managers and leaders in Australia.
  • Grow the IML Member base through the delivery of strategic relationship activities 
  • Increase IML Member and business community relationships 

Development and delivery of Member Specific Events and Activities

  • Develop and deliver events across Tasmania

The Person

You will be a tertiary qualified self-starter with the ability to work in a changing and fast-paced environment.

You will have:

  • Three years experience in a relationship/business development/ membership/ customer service role
  • Knowledge and expertise in stakeholder engagement and business development
  • Proven ability to build relationships and account manage third parties
