Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
Our client is a leading provider of Equipment Finance solutions in the hospitality and transport segments.
The Chief Sales & Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing, managing and integrating all revenue generating functions for the company,
This newly-created role will lead a national team of 20+ Business Development & Marketing Managers, and report to the Chief Executive Officer.
The successful candidate will have a commercial mindset, be a proven sales leader with industry expertise in equipment finance. They must also be accustomed to leading in a high growth transformational environment, yet adept at instituting the right systems, processes and sales incentives to enable continued scale.
The successful candidate will be required to hit the ground running and provide structure, systems, leadership and enhance the capability of the sales and marketing function. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the assessment of the current sales and marketing organization and create a strategy / execution plan for continued scalable expansion.
- Leading and developing the sales team by establishing goals, target metrics and processes that will deliver results that meet/exceed company sales targets in a SME environment. Institute a CRM system.
- Providing direction to marketing to ensure that key business segments are supported by client collateral and assets to underpin sales success.
- Ensuring cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Credit, Partners & Channels and Customer Care teams to enhance the customer experience and execute nurture and upsell strategies.
- Attracting, developing and retaining exceptional team members for the sales and marketing function.
