To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for Western Australia. You will be able to build relationships and grow a business across the industries we service.

With collaborative and adequate support, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a market plan / business opportunity strategy;
  • Sourcing new clients and fostering key relationships externally to support high quality delivery of services as well as proactive stakeholder management;
  • Formulating, developing and implementing yearly business strategies in line with the organisations strategic plan and project objectives to ensure attainment of revenue goals’;
  • Utilising existing network to identify project opportunities;
  • Meeting with clients and presenting the companies capabilities and technical capacity;
  • Engaging with the Commercial team and other internal stakeholders in order to compose Tenders and formal client responses; and
  • Attending industry trade shows and other relevant forums to ensure the company is positively represented and promoted.

To be successful in this role you will have an aggressive results-oriented mindset with proven ability to convert leads and opportunities into revenue. In addition to this, you will also have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in the construction or mining industries;
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in a start up/growth environment;
  • Account management of existing clients to ensure repeat business;
  • A strong network of clients and vendors to draw on; and
  • A committed and enthusiastic approach with a passion for what you do.

The suitable applicant will receive a Salary + Commission (based on performance).
