My client is a leading IT managed services company who has an outstanding reputation across ANZ for their service offerings and ability to deliver. They are well established with c500 people. They continue to experience tremendous growth, particularly in their mid market segment (up to 1000 seats) and as a result are looking for two business development managers in Sydney to bolster the team.

Key responsibilities - Business Development Manager

• New business client acquisition across a range of sectors, focused in NSW
• Focus on IT managed services sales (e.g. cloud, telephony, networks, security etc)
• Prospecting through to closing of new business sales
• Develop territory and account plans 
• Achieve sales targets based on GP

Experience required 

• New business hunting skills - happy to cold call, prospect & utilise your networks
• 3-5+ years sales experience in the local market - Sydney 
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding new business sales targets
• Experience of selling some IT managed services currently or in the past
• Consultative sales skills
• Knowledge or experience of selling the likes of Microsoft O365, MS Lync / Skype, Telephony, Networking or Security solutions previously
• Ability to pitch and present to company owners/directors/senior stakeholders 
• Outgoing, energetic, driven personalities
