Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) (www.hcma.com.au) is a global brand providing a variety of machinery for the construction and mining industries.

We have an opportunity for highly motivated Light Equipment Sales Representative to join us,  covering the Newcastle, Lower Hunter and Mid North Coast . The main responsibility of this position is to promote the sales of the Hitachi Light Construction Equipment.  

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

• Prospecting sales opportunities, service existing network of customers, monitor market intelligence & competitor activity
• Maintain acceptable market share across HCA products lines.
• Preparation of quotations & submission of tenders.
• Reporting of activity, prospects, sales opportunities & competitor activity in CRM.
• Monitor the delivery and performance post sale of Hitachi equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Represent Hitachi Construction Machinery in a professional manner at all times

To be successful in this role you will possess the following

• Be customer focused, with a desire to succeed in in targeted sales and demonstrate a genuine interest in providing customer solutions & customer satisfaction.
• Be an effective communicator, self-motivated & be able to work autonomously.

Candicates with the follwing backgounds will be considered

• Strong sales background with a desire to move into capital equipment sales.
• Strong earthmoving background with a desire to move into sales.
