They will become an integral part of the Executive Management Team and report directly to the CEO. 

Leading a team of three, the Human Resources Manager oversees all HR and recruitment functions for the business and fosters a positive and safe workplace culture.

This role requires someone who is a thought leader and willing to be hands on and can also provide a strategic focus. Included in this role is:

• Oversee the recruitment, selection and induction of new employees;
• Develop and implement innovative methods of improving recruitment of new employees;
• Develop and implement strategies for employee attraction and retention;
• Oversee the maintenance of employee records;
• Maintain an 'open door' communication with all staff of SACARE Group;
• Review and maintain all HR policies, procedures and documentation;
• Monitor all Return to Work processes including liaison with workers compensation insurer;
• Training and development of staff to support their mandatory employment requirements and to also develop their full potential;
• Contribute to the development of organisation wide projects;
• Actively manage all direct reports and provide on-going coaching and development to raise the overall performance of the division and maximise each staff members potential;
• Implement policies and procedures to minimise workplace injuries;
• Accountable for ensuring relevance and effectiveness of quality management system as part of the Executive Management Team;
• To engage and drive the core values of the organization to a mobile and casual workforce
• Ensure continuous improvement requirements across the organisation are met;
• Ensure policy and procedure objectives for relevant business areas are met;
• Ensure legislative requirements for relevant business areas are adhered to.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role.  You also need to be able to demonstrate creativity in problem solving in your previous roles. Experience in a service industry and or health related field will be an advantage.
