National Sales Manager

Our client specialises in recruitment and labour hire. Due to growth they are seeking a Sydney based "hands on" labour hire expert who has proven sales leadership and development skills. A leader that will show the way utilising their experience and energy.

Reporting to the CEO, the you will be charged with the responsibility of developing and implementing procurement and service strategies for National and State based corporate accounts as well as reporting and management methodologies.

You will take responsibility for the creation, management and control of profit and margin improvement within your accounts.

Key tasks involve

  • Sales responsibility, direction and leadership
  • Work closely with CEO and sales team on Tenders / Meetings / Pitches
  • Take responsibility for Clients and winning new business
  • Increasing sales and profitability
  • Achieving budget and targets

The primary objective of this role is to provide sales leadership for you and your team to achieve the highest level of growth and client service possible. The National Sales Manager is responsible and accountable for the sales results of the business.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years management experience within a labour hire business
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, a team motivator and ability to lead by example
  • Experience and networks within the industrial recruitment market
  • Understand modern awards and EBA's
  • Ability to develop and foster strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate at all levels
  • Can think on your feet and problem solve complex issues
  • Proven team and business building skills
