About the role
This position forms part of the HR support team for our Travel Hospitality Services (THS) division. The THS division is currently experiencing a very exciting growth phase with expansions to our current business and entry into new business streams, making this an exciting time to join the team.
The role will initially be engaged on a part time (20 hours per week) six month fixed term engagement.
Our Sydney Central Rail site is expanding and we will need to mobilise a new operational team to deliver on our high expectations. We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator / Recruitment Coordinator who can help deliver our new team and support all onboarding and induction activities. This fixed term role will be reviewed after 6 months to ensure our structure is best suited to support the site and the greater THS HR division team.
The role is offered on a fixed term basis for 6 months with the possibility of gaining further opportunities within the broader business upon completion of this tenure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and/or supporting all seasonal and high volume recruitment activities
- Coordinate all on boarding and training activities
- Oversee Visa management/compliance activities for the site
- Ensuring legislative, policy and procedure compliance
- Promoting a positive and inclusive organisational culture
- Manage all HR administration activities
Criteria/Qualifications:
- Technical strength through experience in a similar recuritment / adminstrative role, preferably within the hospitality or retail industry
- Solid experience in end to end recruitment and selection
- Ability to build relationships across a diverse team
- A demonstrated calm mature approach to dealing with issues
- Human Resources qualification or studying towards completion of such certification beneficial but not essential
Please note: the successful candidate maybe required to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a background and criminal history check.
