Southcare is now looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis (0.4 FTE) working 2 days a week (days and hours flexible).
Key Responsibilities
As the HR Assistant you will:
- Ensure employee information is up to date and changes are implemented in a timely manner.
- Assist with all areas of recruitment and on boarding including but not limited to the posting of job adverts, shortlisting and telephone screening.
- File creation and file maintenance including regular filing of employee documents and information.
- Enter and update compliance information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Draft and or update changes to policies and procedures as required.
- Occasional research and assistance with ad-hoc HR projects.
- Assist with general duties as required
Selection Criteria (Essential)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Willingness to work within Southcare's mission and values
- Well-developed verbal and written skills in order to generate social media posts
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, data entry, document preparation, diligent follow-up
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that meets the requirements of the Aged Care Act.
Desirable:
- Experience in aged care, human services, social work, behavioural science or the health professions
