HR Business Partner
Creswick Woollen Mills was established over 70 years ago. We are the home to the biggest range of natural fibre clothing, home-wares and accessories across our growing retail network in Victoria. We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team and partner with us to manage all people related initiatives resulting from our on-going growth across all areas of the business.
The key responsibilities of this role include
Supporting our employees across all aspects of the employment life-cycle including on-boarding, annual performance review and remuneration processes, OHS & ER requirements and recruitment overflow.
Driving strategic HR projects including: development and deployment of company-wide on-boarding including training on company strategy and values, employee growth strategies through career development and performance management, HR coaching and support to store management level, updating and implementing of relevant HR policies and procedures to be in line with business strategy and legal obligations.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and 3-5 years in an equivalent role, preferably in retail environment
- A commercial mindset and excellent relationship-building, internal stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation.
- Prior generalist HR exposure within a fast-paced organisation where you have been responsible for managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to lead and influence change across a diverse employee group in a positive and collaborative manner
- Practical (hands on) and strategic approach to people initiatives
- Impeccable organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise own workload and deliver to tight deadlines
