Learning & Development - Crown Melbourne

A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Learning and Development Trainer to join our Human Resources department as Training Lead    

 

Reporting to the Group Training Manager, the Training Lead is responsible for the development, delivery and assessment of all technical, leadership, customer and employee experience enhancing training programs across the business unit according to Company, Government and Industry guidelines and ensuring consistency of delivery and assessment by Trainers. 

 
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the development, delivery and assessment of engaging technical, leadership and adaptive skills training including accredited training in accordance with AQTF standards
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of training and work with the  departments to establish or improve standards for service and operational excellence
  • Maintain close communication with Training Management, Workforce and  Operations
  • Maintain Industry knowledge and recency in all areas of certification
  • Mentor and coach trainers
  • Coordinate and report on the delivery of all legislative/compliance/on-line training 
  • Evaluation and measurement of learning development outcomes
  • Review training materials and ensure their compliance with AQTF Standards, VCGLR regulation and Standard Operating Procedures
 

This role requires a Learning & Development professional with the relevant qualifications and extensive training experience in a similar role, ideally with an understanding of adult learning principles and experience with development of blended delivery and assessment methodologies including gamification of learning.  With your leadership and mentoring skills you will provide adequate directions for your team as well as stakeholders which will be evident in the results of our employees.
