This role will include but not be limited to:
- Respond quickly to resolve HR issues raised by site management and employees and escalate as required.
- Successful completion of the HR Cycle including workforce planning, talent and succession, remuneration and performance reviews.
- Timely and valuable contributions to HR projects and related change management initiatives (as directed)
- Preparation of the HR analytics as required.
- Positive stakeholder feedback, internal and external
- Effective management of key programs and initiatives such as government funded/subsidised training and recruitment programs
- Support hotel managers in recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to ensure that employees are engaged efficiently and compliance/policy/process requirements are met.
- New employees are set up prior to starting and properly inducted into the company
- All visa/work rights/sponsorship requirements are properly assessed and managed
- Fortnightly and Monthly payroll is processed on time without errors
- Employee data is well-maintained and up to date
- Payroll reporting and statutory requirements are successfully managed
- Reporting/analytics are provided to the business to assist in managing cost/risk.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- Experience in an HR administrative role
- Experience in a customer facing role delivering HR advice and support to line managers.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Psychology/Arts/Commerce with a major in HR
- Previous experience with HR Information Systems
- Exposure to Hospitality Industry and HIGA award
This role is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, this role will predominantly be in Brisbane however there will be travel required within QLD.
