3 more opportunities have presented itself to join this great department from the Victorian Government located in the Melbourne CBD for at least six months (possibility it will go permanent) as Recruitment Advisor. Not only will you be in charge of end-to-end recruitment together with a team of 7 Recruitment Advisors. You are also the person who will help the team to step up and help them to be successful in the changing environment within the technical aspect of recruitment.

The department you will be working in is going through a lot of positive change and some great projects are coming up in the HR space to get to a next level. In the role as Recruitment Advisor you will be responsible for working together with your internal stakeholders to find the right candidates in the system and other job boards, write vacancies, create talent pools, screening CV’s and shortlist high potentials. After this phase you will be conducting phone interviews, face to face interviews and work together with the manager to fill on the position. To summarize, you will be doing the end-to-end recruitment. You are also a part of the on boarding of the candidates and you are the person who will make them feel welcome at their new company.

Currently we are looking for a person with a pro-active attitude, who is not just posting an add and is waiting for response, but who knows the market and where to find the right candidates for the positions. You know how to use different job boards (Seek, LinkedIn etc.) and how to engage with the passive candidates out there. You have a background in agency or internal recruitment for a minimum of 2-3 year and very important is definitely the right mindset that shows that you fit in a changing environment and that you love to adapt all the new technology.
