The role will include:-

  • Applying your insight, commercial awareness and experience combined with the effective use of research and industry tools to develop winning media programs in collaboration with media providers, always focusing on the need to maximise reach to target audiences along with achieving optimal ROI;
  • Effectively planning the overall media calendar and individual campaigns;
  • Managing the preparation and control of all media budgets relating to media spend in collaboration with the Finance Department and providing  accurate spend forecasts;
  • Driving all media buying negotiations to ensure media spend effectiveness;
  • Maintaining effective commercial relationships with major media providers;
  • Ensuring media supplier contract compliance;
  • Managing supplier performance review processes.

 

You are a superior negotiator and communicator; possess high attention to detail;are skilled at working with internal stakeholders to develop optimum media outcomes and always at the forefront of media trends. You have a sound working knowledge of media analytic tools such as Nielsen products, TV Map, BCC and Roy Morgan Asteroid and are experienced across TV, Radio and Social Media.

 

You will have either senior media planning and buying experience with fast moving consumer products or services businesses that have large media spends OR a senior Trading/Media Management background with highly regarded agencies.
