What you’ll do:
You’ll be a member of the production team at ‘The Addy’, accountable for quality and efficient production across print and digital platforms. You’ll be responsible for delivering content that engages local and national audiences whilst being aligned with commercial goals and organisational strategy. You’ll be tasked with sub-editing processes, preparing and publishing content on the Methode production system. You’ll be required to apply editorial judgement to ensure print and digital platforms are updated with energetic and captivating stories and compelling headlines.
This is a casual position, up to a maximum of five shifts per week. You will be part of a
six-day production roster, primarily working afternoon and evening shifts and weekends.

You’ll have a passion for media and take pride in displaying stories that captivate consumers. You’re renowned for the highest quality of journalism and editing and have demonstrated reporting, editing, design and layout skills.
You’ll possess the natural knack to see a great line in a news story and opinion piece - and know instantly that it will be a success. With an eye for detail, you work with a level of accuracy that is second-to-none in a high-intensity environment with tight deadlines.
You’ll have demonstrated commercial acumen and have the ability to form strong relationships with key stakeholders. You must be digitally savvy and possess demonstrated experience on multiple platforms.
