About the Role
Our Resource management team is expanding and we are looking for a Technical Consultant to help support the wider team.
This pivotal role, reporting to Resource Management Director, is primarily responsible for the management and support of the Resource Management databases (Etime & StaffIt). You will enjoy working with data and have a pro-active and consultative approach. This is a technical role requiring a person who is focused on providing a consistently high level of service across the wider Resource Management team.

- Implementing and administering database documentation, guidelines, policies and procedures
- Design and maintain database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files
- Ensure data accuracy in Resource Management databases is consistent with other internal Deloitte systems.
- Control and provide access to Resource management database for new starters
- Manage, overseas/internal profile transfers, liaising with StaffIt services, ITS and OPM team and ensure that the profile transfer is success.
- Understand the impact of new changes and collaborate with Finance, HR and StaffIt services team and ensure the new changes reflects in the system.
- Engage with global and StaffIt service teams to understand future system upgrades and effectively communicate recurring errors and concerns.
- Work with support teams of upstream systems on all employee data and engagement issues.
- Work with ITS to manage infrastructure requirements and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention, inform RM leads of recurring issues.
- Manage Resource Management technical mail box queries
- Annual maintenance of business hierarchies across all systems
- Maintain Reporting database (Cognos)
- Assist in the bi-annual recurring data upload
- Assist Finance with the regular data upload into the Resource Management Database
About you
You will ideally have:
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills
- Good understanding of Database concepts, principles, structures and best practices
- Worked in virtual teams
- Database administration & support experience
- Cognos exposure
- SAP experience
- SQL experience
- Ability to assist with the writing of documentation for technical designs, deployment, implementation and as-built guides
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- An eagerness and strong ability to adapt to a wide arrange of teams, problems and work environments
