My client is a B2B market place start-up whose product is built on a SAAS platform. They are looking for an experienced and motivated Android engineer to spearhead the development of their Android app from the ground up. This is a great opportunity to join a well-funded, growing start-up with a great culture.
 
Role

• Lead technical implementation of product roadmap across Android applications.
• Collaborate with product team to design new exciting features.
• Select and manage use of third-party software libraries & services.
• Ensure Android app is monitored and supported.

 
Required

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience as an engineer, 3+ years building Android apps
• Strong experience building and supporting applications with complex workflows such as marketplaces, e-commerce sites, SAAS or banking products.
• Knowledge of multiple languages, expertise in at least one OOP and one Procedural language
• Advanced SQL, capable of diving into and interpreting data
• Passionate about quality & testing practices
• Curiosity and a thirst for learning
• Strong UX and Product sensibility

 
Nice to have

• Kotlin experience
