Our client and role: 

Our client, an industry leading WA based employer of choice are seeking the services of a strong BA to carry out requirements gathering activities for a number of web-based application upgrade projects. Other duties will see you coordinating workshop facilitation sessions as well as documenting high-level business requirements plans for key stakeholders within the business. Projects will include system upgrades, BI projects as well as business application reviews. 

Key duties within the position will include:

• Gathering requirements and environment specifications for IT implementation projects for a number of BI upgrades.
• Producing detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Developing and getting agreement on plans for implementing the IT change in conjunction with vendors, operations and the project team.
• Be the business interface representing the client with vendors.
• Developing and carrying out testing procedures to validate that the IT change meets requirements of the end users.
• Ensuring that implemented IT change meets quality and security standards.
• Keep accurate records of steps and decisions taken.
• Keep project managers regularly informed of progress.

Essential experience required:

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with experience ideally in large complex ICT projects.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to understand and articulate complex processes.
• Worked as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing external vendor relationships.
• Understanding of application lifecycle methodologies.
• Understanding of project delivery methodologies.
