Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver an IT Transformation Project for this Government Department.

You will be responsible for planning, leading, organising and motivating project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects and programs of work that provide exceptional business value to users. 

You will be responsible for:

• Deliver projects within scope, quality, time and budget
• Issue, risk and change registers
• Project financial planning and reconciliation
• Conduct Victorian government procurement activities to implement value for money support services
• Stakeholder management
• Project financial planning, analysis and reconciliation
• Internal and external resource coordination associated with project delivery
• Effective communications and governance

You will have:

• 10+ years of experience in project management with strong IT systems based projects
• Extensive experience delivering IT Transformation Projects
• Ability to present to and manage expectations of CIO and Senior Executives
• Experience developing Business Cases
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Prior experience in public sector
• Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
