The Company
Robert Half are recruiting an experienced Business Analyst for an established global organisation in the retail sector. The successful candidate will deliver large-scale business transformation projects, underpinned by technology changes, across the business.
As the result of a comprehensive technology implementation and several digital initiatives, they have an urgent need for a Digital Business Analyst, to work within the Project team in a varied portfolio of work and provide a complex digital innovation and capacity.
The Role
You will be a highly competent Business Analyst who has excellent communication skills and an affinity with digital project delivery. Ideally you will come from a similar position and be comfortable working autonomous and within a digital service program. Experience in supply chain/retail and exposure to waterfall project environments would be preferred.
Other requirements include:
- Analyse, recommend, and develop process/business functional requirements to ensure they meet business needs.
- An ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- A hands-on, can-do approach and the willingness to go above and beyond.
- Work collaborative with Digital Project Managers, Product Owners and end users.
- Experience working multiple and parallel projects.
- Write reports, process documentation, procedures, and comprehensive recommendations.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Your Profile
You will be a highly competent Business Analyst who has excellent communication skills and an affinity with (digital) technology. Ideally you will show at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Experience in handling web based technologies and exposure to waterfall (retail) project environments would be preferred.
Other requirements include:
- Development of process maps (As Is & To Be), business and functional requirements.
- Analyse, recommend, and improve complex business systems.
- Strong analytical skills combined with an innovative style of problem solving.
- Experience working in cross functional teams.
- Communicate to internal and external stakeholders like application architects and project stakeholders.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Write reports, process documentation, procedures, and comprehensive recommendations.
- Familiarity with preparing requirement analysis and documentation.
