Our Client is a global technology, software and consulting organisation, leading the way in process manufacturing, plant optimisation, business operations and enterprise performance, and are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join them on a permanent basis!

This role involves a senior level technical competency in the fields of product technical support and solution engineering. You will have experience with application design and development skills and an understanding of manufacturing processes or domain experience in the mining, hydrocarbon, chemical, power, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and utilities industries would be highly regarded. You will also possess excellent customer-centric communications skills and technical product knowledge are needed to respond to customer needs.

Technical Competencies:

• Responsible for providing consulting services to technically support strategic customers. Involves providing system architecture feedback and addressing customer’s unique project requirements and objectives, providing technical and strategic direction.
• Customer site visits to solve the issues or to provide consultancy services in conjunction with the associated customer

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, Solution Architect or Project Engineer practicing in design, development, and integration of IT solutions for manufacturing where a distributed architecture with middleware layer was utilized
• Experienced in working with customers to resolve advanced application issues
• Microsoft Visual Studio, including VB.Net and/or C# and some exposure to database development tools (SQL/T-SQL)
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a respective Computer Science or Engineering field is preferred
• Demonstrable knowledge in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) will be highly regarded.
• A sound understanding of multi-tier solution architectures

Occasional travel required for the role - valid passport required.
