To be successful, you’ll have:
•                     very solid experience on application web/API security practices.  A big advantage if have set up and maintained ADC/WAF implementations that protect web application and RESTful APIs (Open API).
·                     This means you have successfully implemented of mitigation of OWASP top 10 application security risks in an enterprise environment.
·                     You understand concepts around continuous delivery, inclusive of automation/ orchestration service delivery.
·                     It will be of enormous benefit if you have worked in environments where you are in constant engagement with Agile development teams on a regular basis.
·                     We will consider in high regard any exposure to building and operating deployments into Cloud providers most particularly Microsoft Azure.
•                     extensive hands-on & operational experience across all the primary enterprise network security platforms: firewalls, web filtering, mail filtering, network access control, IPSEC & SSLVPNs, Intrusion Protection, Endpoint Protection, CASB, DoS protection, cryptography, PKI, deep packet inspection, security and threat assessments, etc
•                     a solid understanding of security frameworks (Eg SANS, NIST, ISO 27xxx etc)
•                     demonstrable experience with data mining and analytics tools such as Splunk, Wireshark etc
•                     very solid understanding of the challenges and subsequent solutions to allow consumption of PaaS & SaaS services for on-premise and mobile users.
•                     a methodical and calm approach to positively contribute and/or lead in any potential major incident.
 
Your key responsibilities will be to:
•                     perform network security project and operational functions across a range of security platforms/vendors such as:         Cisco, Forcepoint, Bluecoat, F5, Radware, Pulse (vADC), McAfee, RSA, Citrix, Netscreen.
•                     have operational oversight on Change Management, Patch Management and support documentation quality control.
•                     participate in and influence security-centric design constructs & paradigms
•                     participate in ongoing security services release cycle and patching.
•                     if and when necessary be able to take on mission leader responsibility in any major incident response activity
•                     liaise with application architecture, development and information security teams to revise develop and maintain appropriate security posture in line with IT Security standards.
•                     be a change agent providing leadership and inspiration on operational processes and procedures.
•                     perform network-centric security risk assessments for IT activities and projects.
