This is an exciting opportunity to join a cyber security team in a key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of an IT security program and lead key BAU security activities including responding to security incidents and reporting on security risks.
 
The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of security-enabling technologies. Experience in working with key technologies including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Anti-virus and End-point protection is essential.

 Responsibilities:

• Provide security assurance services to projects and other BAU tasks (eg firewall rule reviews, provide advice on patching, network security and data protection, etc.) 
• Undertake security assessments
• Lead incident response activities such as incident triage and analysis, end-user interviews, remediation efforts, and compile detailed investigation reports

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role essential
• Experience implementing and adhering to common Information Security management frameworks
• Extensive experience with Windows and Unix operating systems to a sys admin level
• Extensive experience with infrastructure and networking concepts and technologies
• Experience with the operating model of  security operations, processes and requirements
• Relevant University degree or equivalent.
