Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced "Scrum Master' for the team.
 
Duties and Responsibilities

• Co-responsibility of the delivery of critical, high-value applications to the business
• Guiding the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers. 
• Guiding the team on self-organising to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. 
• Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation. 
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. 
• Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. 
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. 

 
Selection Criteria

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scrum Master, delivering  web applications (n-tier applications) in an Agile environment
• Contemporary Agile (Scrum/Kanban/LEAN) Methodology experience
• Demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of complex IT solutions
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence as well as manual scrum boards
• Demonstrable experience in leading a development project in a Scrum environment
• Extensive agile experience, preferably using Scrum to deliver web applications
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
