About the Role
As Senior Project Manager you will deliver ICT infrastructure platforms across the environment and an associated best practice management framework. You will migrate domains from legacy environments to new data centre environments. You will also work on the program to implement Disaster Recovery for those domains to reduce the impact of scheduled and unscheduled outages to essential health systems and to ensure full business continuity services are available.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the planning and delivery of complex technical projects to deliver organisational initiatives.
- Implement Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Migrate domains from legacy to new Data Centres
- Manage all aspects of the project management cycle, from business cases, project plans, allocating resources, budgets, communication and reporting
- Drive best practice management
- Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement
- Lead and manage project team/s to successfully deliver
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through to CIO level
Experience
- Experienced as a Senior Project Manager in a large complex environment
- Experienced in ICT infrastructure platforms
- Ability to drive best practice management
- Can demonstrate experience in migration of domains from legacy data centres to new Data Centres
- Experience in implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) for domains to reduce the impact of outages to essential systems
- Extensive experience ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
- Ability to implement complex strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and project manage
- Demonstrate can work with a customer focused approach
- Project Management Certification in Prince2
