Dynamic Performance Analysis team
Hotondo Homes is currently seeking an enthusiastic Senior Developer to lead their dynamic digital team
The Senior Developer’s primary responsibility is to work closely with technical staff, non-technical staff and stakeholders to maintain and grow Hotondo’s digital system. We are looking for an experienced technologist who has strong architecture and web development skills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow your team.
The role is based in Moorabbin.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of front end and back end developers.
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff to help them reach their full potential
- Working with Microsoft (and other relevant) Web technologies, play a lead role across IT architecture, design, programming, testing and implementation.
- Promote best practices through sound architectural and design models.
- Managing internal and external projects from scope to implementation.
- Ensure technical designs will achieve required levels of security, performance and robustness.
- Identify and implement appropriate technologies, products and high-level architecture.
- Use strong interpersonal communication to establish and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors and stakeholders.
- Apply an agile development methodology to consistently release product updates.
To be a successful candidate for this role you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science or related discipline is essential
- Strong experience as a Lead Developer/Tech Lead (with a focus on .NET Software/Web development).
- Extensive experience delivering complex web applications preferably on Microsoft Azure (HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / Classic ASP / MVC .NET / SQL).
- Experienced in all relevant phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and understand the agile development principles.
- Excellent problem solving, problem management and data analysis skills.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft SQL Server including Queries, Views, Functions, Stored procedures and SSIS/SSRS.
- Strong understanding of Access Database objects (Forms, Queries, Reporting, Macros, Modules) would be an advantage.
- Be comfortable working with front-end frameworks (Angular/React is preferable).
