About the opportunity?

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Identity and Access Specialist to take responsibility for the design and execution of Identity and Access Control processes for the Aussie technology environment. You will be the technical owner for identity and access management processes, standards and toolsets and take responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and enhancements. You will also provide excellence in deskside support, identity services and self-service solutions to deliver friction-free user experiences and minimise downtime or disruption to business operations.

Reporting to our Senior Manager, Workplace Technology you will:

• deliver a timely, accurate and auditable Identity & Access Management service, including continual enhancement of systems and processes to reduce manual effort and improve controls
• coordinate timely and complete User Access Validation tasks on a regular basis
• support the Broker Service centre and Corporate Service Desk with Identity and Access Management related issues  
• deliver continuous improvement on processes, knowledge, systems and self-service capabilities to reduce user incidents and requests.

• extensive relevant professional experience in the area of Networking
• experience designing and enhancing multi-vendor (Cisco, Citrix and Checkpoint) and multi-carrier (Telstra & TPG) networks including Wide-area, Local and Wireless networks, MPLS infrastructure solutions
• experience working within ITIL process frameworks, in particular Incident, Problem, Change & Knowledge across a multi-vendor environment
• Cisco Certification to CCNP or CCDP level or equivalent
• a deep understanding of specific network concepts and protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, RADIUS, 802.1X authentication.
