About you
To thrive in this position, you must have a solid foundation and work history in both Technical Design and Front End Development.
You are passionate about web technologies and have a keen interest in mobile application development. You're excited about new emerging technology, elegant UIs and great design!
You are an innovative thinker with the ability to work across a number of projects at any one time. You're a team player but can work independently when required. You are comfortable working in an agile and rapidly evolving environment, and are open to brainstorming in an open and honest dialogue with the team.
Job description
The position will go to a candidate who shows strong enthusiasm and displays excellent communication and technical skills.
Essential qualifications / skills:
- Solid proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES6+, Bootstrap, AngularJS, Ionic/Cordova
- Excellent web design skills and knowledge of usability and UX
- Proficiency in Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Knowledge of cross-browser issues and testing
- 2+ years of commercial experience in front end development
- Degree in software engineering
You will need to demonstrate:
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Writing clean, reusable and maintainable code following best practices
- Familiarity with web standards and emergent trends
