Tout Creative is looking for a talented and experienced local, Melbourne based WordPress Web Developer. We would like to contract you on a per project, ad-hoc basis.

Role

Coding and implementing WordPress sites from either a pre-designed template or building a brand new template, functions, and plugins.

It's important that you have attention to detail, are accurate and thorough.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites from existing WordPress templates and making new WordPress sites from scratch
• Creation of plugins/widgets/new features/enhancements written to conform to the WordPress coding standards
• Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code libraries to streamline WordPress development cycle
• Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
• Facilitate client WordPress training, site documentation and maintenance
• Great understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues
• Strong knowledge of current web development languages (including HTML5, CSS3, PHP/MySQL)

Experience

• Proven work experience as a Web Developer for or similar role in an agency environment or via freelance.
• Minimum 5 years experience.

Requirements

• Time commitment: per project, ad-hoc basis
• Be available to work on-site in Prahran or Melbourne CBD location
• Be available to attend client meetings
• Be available to answer ad-hoc queries and proposals outside of your committed work days
• Please ensure you own your own equipment: laptop, etc
• Valid ABN
