Role – CICD_Automation Engineer
Location – Melbourne/Sydney
Job Level – 5 (Technology Lead, 6+ Years’ Experience)

Short Description –
The job profile includes the following:

• Responsible to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools, creating builds, build tests, installing environment with the newly created build and testing the newly implemented code
• Responsible for defining and providing inputs to the overall Test Strategy, Master Test Plan, Test Cases and Traceability Matrix.
• Also responsible for automating the test cases especially on the mobility devices
• Demonstrable experience in implementing test automations, improving productivity from testing perspective. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Deploy Java based applications and setup up log monitoring tools for application
• Manage release to production and non-production environments
• Test Estimation and test planning
• Leading the offshore testers and liaising with developers
• Ensuring the defined process is being followed by the team
• Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release/project
• Planning , monitoring and control of the test activities ensuring the schedule are on track
• Identifying automation opportunities and implementing the same
• Prepare Test plan, Test cases
• Point of contact for SIT/UAT with business/ other platforms


Technical Capabilities / Skills:
Hands-on experience on the following technology stack:
• Continuous Integration skills and working experience with Jenkins, Github and/or Artifactory, JIRA, Soap UI, Rest
• Experience with Test automation tools like Selenium and/or UFT/LeanFT
• AGILE Methodology experience
• Experienced in API or MicroServices Automation Testing will be an advantage
• Experience in strategic development and implementation of Quality Engineering solutions (Automation Frameworks, Service Virtualisation)
• Experienced in coaching integrated teams including Developers and Quality Engineers to ensure tests are designed for reliability, performance and usability
• Should be able to develop and maintain Strategic QE solutions (on Test automation and Service Virtualization)
• A proactive communicator with good innovation skills, should be able to accomplish the goals with little or no supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment
• Time bound testing skills and ability to meet specified deadlines
• Experienced in rapid and iterative development practices
• Experienced in TDD/BDD
• Experience with formal trials and demos in scrum cycles to define and showcase automated test coverage
• Proven experience in analyzing, evaluating and diagnosing technical problems and issues.

Educational Qualifications and other skills:
The candidate must possesses the following:

• Undergraduate studies (bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred) in business management information systems, computer science or a related field.
• At least six years of technical work experience in the information technology field.
• Excellent written and oral collaboration skills
