Our client is looking for a motivated IT project manager with the energy and interest to work "hand in glove" with the business as they embark on new initiatives around digital and Business intelligence projects. You will be part of the leadership team reporting to the CIO. You will lead/mentor two less experienced project managers and work on a portfolio of projects valued at approximately $2 million. Projects will vary in size and scale.
We are looking for someone with around 7 years project management experience and the familiarity of working for smaller organizations in an operational setting. The role is genuinely multifaceted in terms of managing both application and infrastructure projects, providing some governance and structure to the delivery of projects, working closely with vendor partners and helping raise the capability level of less experienced project managers.
Skills Required:- Key to the role will be your exceptional relationship management skills, energy, motivation and drive
- We seek a motivated person who will be "hands on" across projects and skilled in building strong relationships across the business
- You will have approximately 5 Plus years of Project management experience
- Leadership qualities - Someone who is interested in mentoring and guiding others
- Agile experience with a continuous improvement mind-set
- Ability to think strategically and analytically - there is a good opportunity to introduce innovative solutions
