To support the significant growth of our business, our ICT department is expanding and recruiting a variety of exciting roles. The Business Systems Analyst will sit within the newly created Portfolio Management Office (PMO) function which is accountable for planning, governing and delivering ICT enablement activities across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of PMO the Business Systems Analyst provides expert process, data and systems analysis services for the purposes of delivering improvements to the company’s Applications, Systems, Processes and Enterprise data. As a member of ICT’s Portfolio Management Office, the role may lead small project teams and system / process improvement analysis efforts for domains including but not limited to Finance, Business Operations & HR.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide high level business, system and process analyses across all business areas, delivering appropriate documentation as required
- Utilising SDLC/Agile development methodologies, data modelling, system and application requirements to deliver system improvements to our software application portfolio & enterprise dataset
- Utilise and follow established Project Delivery approaches of ICT’s Portfolio Management Office (PMO)
- Deliver to wider JH Group ICT and Corporate strategic objectives
To be successful in this key role, you must have:
- Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Minimum 4 years in Business Analysis
- Strong understanding and experience of the full software development lifecycle
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies
- Adept in elicitation and documentation of business and technical requirements
- Strong problem-solving & solution driven capabilities
- Extensive experience utilising Microsoft’s suite of development tools; inclusive of tools for the development of applications, reporting, database objects and integration
- Experience in Software Development or systems implementation
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and effectively within and across teams, communicating on all levels within technology and with business stakeholders
