Our large international client is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager. Strong Design and Project Management experience managing FTTB, FTTN, FTTP & FTTc Large scale National Design Projects.

The Role:


The role is the governing interface and the integrator between the teams that constitute FTTx Design and the Delivery teams to ensure that anything coming out of the Department is consistent, replicable and ensures efficiencies longer term.
The role must ensure that the Design team apply explicit content authority provided by the Strategy and Portfolio teams, in order to continually define, prioritise and validate solution technology and engineering requirements.

• Establishing the design and construction methodology for tenders and projects
• Maintaining knowledge of the latest design and drawings systems, keeping things up-to-date and improving internal processes where possible
• Establishing effective relationships across the region in order to produce the best concepts and solutions
• Providing cost estimates, sticking to budgets and deadlinesWorking knowledge of GIS, SpatialNet, AutoCAD, BricsCAD, MapInfo, GDD

You:

• Capability to act as a leader within the region through driving results, personal commitment, and behaviours
• Able to inspire others and bring teams together to work across time zones and cultures to service clients
• 7+ years of Telecommunications experience
• 3+ years’ experience of working with the Australia design standards
• Experience of FTTB, FTTN, FTTP & FTTc Technologies 
• Technically competent with software including, Microsoft Project, Visio, Office 365, MapInfo, AutoCAD and Spatial net
