About the Role

We are seeking an IT Regional Support Officer for a Well Known Non for Profit Company for an ongoing 12-month contract located in Canberra.
 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  •  Assist IT Management with any system administration policies and practices as appropriate
  • Assist in rectification of defects such as (i.e. printing problems, desktop PC and terminal troubleshooting, PC and network connection problems, including Citrix XenApp issues
  • Perform installation of PC and network equipment at sites as directed by IT Manager
  • Assist in the production and management of IT&S policies and procedures
  • Any other related duties and projects as requested by the IT Manager.
  • Receive, log and update calls from users in line with ITIL and the RSLLC IT ITSM application
  • Call users to notify current situation of any help desk calls
  • Assist IT Management with any system administration policies and practices as appropriate
  • Assist in rectification of defects such as (i.e. printing problems, desktop PC and terminal troubleshooting, PC and network connection problems, including Citrix XenApp issues)
  • Perform installation of PC and network equipment at sites as directed by IT Manager
  • Assist in the production and management of IT&S policies and procedures
  • Any other related duties and projects as requested by the IT Manager

The Successful candidate will have:

  • L1&2 technical support experience within a predominantly Microsoft desktop and server operating system based environment
  • Sound practical experience in maintaining desktop computing environments, including; PCs, printers, scanners and peripherals
  • Sound practical experience maintaining network hardware, including switch management, access point configuration, routers and thin clients.
  • Experience with business application administration, backups and maintenance.
  • Citrix XenApp, MS Server product include SQL, Exchange, TS and Office 365.
  • Work closely with regional EGM & GM's to deliver on business objectives and to agreed service levels. 
  • Current Drivers License - required
