My client is a leading and well known Australian organization based in the CBD. An exciting challenge awaits for an experienced Azure Specialist. Working in a team of dedicated professionals, you will work across multiple projects, and multiple technologies, however the primary focus for this requirement is Azure experience for both design and implementation duties. It's a full end to end role.
Duties include:
- Designing and developing infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving IT requirements, aligned to enterprise-wide IT architectures and standards.
- Contributing to the definition and communication of IT infrastructure designs, policies, processes and standards for building and running systems.
- Coordinating with other IT teams to align infrastructure plans and operational capability plans.
- Ensuring that architectures and designs deliver to both business and technical requirements
- Reviewing infrastructure solution designs to ensure that they are aligned to enterprise-wide IT architectures and standards
- Identifying and resolving infrastructure design issues and evaluating design trade-offs in projects.
Skills required include:
- Azure design & implementation experience
- 3 years of experience with security protocols & network security
- Broad understanding of architecture principles (networking, DC, virtualization, SAN/NAS, backup, security etc)
- Maintaining routers, Cisco switches, VMstack and complete configuration changes
- Active Directory, Office 365, Storage like SAN, NaS, Backup Software
- Experience migrating VM's onto Azure
- Azure certification 70-533
- Complete CI/CD experience (Powershell)
- Linux (desirable)
