This is a high impact Iteration Manager / Scrum Master role, and an opportunity to become apart of the AIA team on a permanent basis.
This role will be working within our Artificial Intelligence Team and is responsible for leading the planning development, testing and implementation activities of a cross functional Agile delivery team and ensuring optimum delivery is achieved.
A key component of the role is to facilitate effective use of Agile principles, processes and behaviours to ensure Agile standards and guidelines are continuously improved during implementation, as well as ensuring successful and considered transition to support of projects.
This role will be required to work with internal teams as well as partners and vendors to ensure consistency and quality of delivery.
Location of role: Based at AIA Head Office – 509 St Kilda Road, Melbourne 3004
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Ability to lead strategic delivery project and manage project teams.
- 5+ years’ experience in project management or delivery management or as an Agile coach, Iteration Manager or Senior Business Analyst.
- Extensive experience in agile delivery across a multiple of domains.
- In depth knowledge of one or more Agile frameworks as acquired through practical experience.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle from concept through to final implementation.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects using Agile techniques in the online domain.
- Proven ability to manage resources, dependencies, scope, and risks using Agile.
- People leadership experience.
- Excellent communication, analytical and facilitation skills.
- Proactive promoter of best practices and a quality mindset.
- Proven success in working with and across Business and IT Delivery Teams to deliver effective and cost efficient technology based solutions.
- Have worked within a customer-focussed team in Digital or Online Services environment.
- Experienced in Vendor Management and selection.
