We currently have a vacancy in our St Leonards / Sydney office for a great communicator who enjoys direct support contact with clients in a full time position.

Your primary responsibility as a Service Desk Technician involves providing 2nd and 3rd level desktop and server support across a number of sites and platforms.

Essential Credentials and Experience
• Ability to manage & support Microsoft Server environments including Active Directory
• Microsoft Exchange
• Office 365 Working Knowledge
• Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook etc
• Good understanding of Microsoft networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, etc
• Solid understanding of TCP / IP, Routers, Firewalls and ADSL technologies.
• Sound fault finding and troubleshooting methodology (we'll test you on this)
• Ability to support Antivirus, Backup, Internet, and Remote Access solutions
• Minimum 2 Years experience in a similar role providing desktop and server level support
• Ability to follow processes and procedures
• Experience in a helpdesk role in MSP environment would be highly regarded.
• Experience with PSA software. Connectwise experience would be highly regarded.

Desired Credentials and Experience
• Industry certifications such as COMPTIA A+, MCP, MCSA / MCITP
• Smartphone technology including ActiveSync.
• VPN / WAN / Firewalls
• Network Storage Solutions - SAN, NAS
• Microsoft Azure and On-Premise Server experience
• Microsoft Hyper V
• Mac OS X

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail are essential
• Able to work well independently and as a team member
• Ability to take ownership of service tickets and bring to resolution within SLA timeframes,

• Desire for continuous professional development through continued training and education.
