About the Role:
BOQ are seeking a Portfolio Coordinator to join our Transformation team in a 12 month contract.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established brand and utilise your strong project and portfolio coordinator experience within a fast paced team environment. You will work very closely with a team of Project Managers and Portfolio Executives, on a large scale portfolio that spans the whole of bank, with multiple projects in the pipeline.
This role will suit a hands-on individual with a bias to action attitude, great initiative and demonstrates excellent communication skills. As a natural team player you are willing to lend a helping hand and wear many hats in order to support the team. You will have experience and confidence in dealing with a variety of senior stakeholders and have demonstrated experience working in a similar, fast paced project environment.
About you?
To be successful in this role you will be an independent problem solver with excellent stakeholder management skills, and will have demonstrable capabilities, knowledge and experience:
- Strong project coordinator experience is essential – you will have worked in similar role on major programs / large scale projects
- Financial sector experience would be well regarded but is not essential
- Sound knowledge of the project management lifecycle, project deliverables, standard project tools, controls, quality standards and project methodologies
- Ability to deal with situations diplomatically and maintain integrity of confidential material
- Demonstrated experience liaising with senior stakeholders
- Strong and confident communication skills (both written & oral) displaying sound business acumen
- Confident and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
- Multifaceted project/program reporting with experience in creating presentation packs for senior executives
