My client is a market leading organisation and Australian house-hold name. A large internal Tech team is complimented by a modern in-house Design studio with best-of-breed tools and techniques they adhere to. They are currently on the lookout for a Digital / UI Designer with a passion for UX and Usability. In this role, your core responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring consistency of UI Design across all platforms – both browser and app
• Develop easy to use, intuitive user experiences that are accessible and logical
• Keeping abreast of UI trends
• Delivering wireframes with associated business rules
• Delivering wireframes and UI Designs within scheduled timeframes
• Continuous evaluation of existing websites and apps.

You'll also be responsible for helping champion continuous user testing. In addition to this, you will develop a strong understanding of the target audience; their needs and goals. Internally, my client is seeking someone that can work collaboratively with Product Managers / BAs etc to translate business objectives into meaningful user experiences. To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience with the following:

• Commercial experience in a UI/UX role.
• Designing for browser (desktop and mobile) and native Apps
• Experience producing wireframes from scratch using Sketch, Axure or similar
• Juggling multiple projects & working to tight deadlines
• Extremely detail-oriented and organised, with strong visual design and layout skills
• Experience with Design for responsive/adaptive websites
• Have an understanding of the capabilities (and limitations) of technology
• Able to take constructive criticism and use it to your advantage
• Expert knowledge in key design applications – Sketch, Photoshop etc

You'll be able to show me a portfolio of your work - moreover, you'll have excellent communication skills and be able to talk me through your direct experience. You will be customer focused and seek to add value to our customers in every task you do. You are an advocate for all our customers and you will align objectives with customer expectations.
