Our client is a globally known IT outsourcer who provides services to well-known organisations around the world. They are currently in the market looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join their team on an initial 3 month contract based in their state of the art Macquarie Park offices.

In this role, you will be required to work with external customers of the business and purely involved in project based work completing tasks such as migrations, decommissions, server builds and server configurations.
In order to secure this role, you will be required to have the following background and experience:

• Previous experience in server virtualisation implementation role, preferably with IT outsourcing experience
• Previous experience in the design and build of virtualisation server infrastructure (VSphere 4, XEN, Hyper-V, Active Directory , DNS, IIS , Clustering , PKI)
• Experience in decommissioning and building with Windows Server and VMware
• Windows server Professional experience/qualifications
• A solid understanding and adherence to the ITIL framework
• Previous experience working with external clients will be highly regarded
