The Role
​
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Automation Dev Tester to work with a global organisation working on a complex, mission-critical, high availability website. You'll be working closely with architects, developers and the infrastructure/ performance teams in monitoring the production, PT and QA environments.


Main Responsibilities

• Writing automated tests and liaising with the development team
• Translating user stories/ business requirements into acceptance criteria
• Building automated test function, developing testing processes and procedures
• Ability to simplify & prepare test cases, plan, conditions & documents independently
• Ability to analyse, identify and escalate defects through functional and regression testing
• Successful implementation of tests across the SDLC
• Performance metrics of Test Plans
• Test coverage across the platform

 
Preferred Experience and Knowledge

• At least 3 Years Commercial experience in C# development
• Experience with Automated Unit Testing and tools such as NUnit
• Experience with Webservices and RESTful API's
• Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum
• SQL Server
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing existing test scripts
• Experience with agile workflow delivery using JIRA, Confluence

 
Desired (Not essential)

• Experience with Spec flow and Visual Studio
