- Financials (account receivable, accounts payable and general ledger)
- New software implementation
- Based in the Brisbane CBD until 31 December 2018 (with possible extension)
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with the software vendor to implement a new system. You will contribute to the development of initiatives and solutions to ensure that the strategic direction is implemented, in alignment with the program and project management strategy.
- Initiate and implement opportunities for continuous improvement by using the principles, practices and methodologies of analysing, designing, planning and documenting ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ business processes, identifying inconsistencies and risks in current processes and systems and developing improvement strategies;
- Facilitate workshops and produce business process documentation (in BPMN), supporting requirements and user stories;
- Experience with Financials (account receivable, accounts payable and general ledger) would be considered an advantage for this role;
- Experience of modelling / configuring standards and conventions in ARIS would be considered an advantage for this role;
- Build productive and professional working relationships with project managers/leads, external stakeholders, process owners and other internal stakeholders to implement sound business improvement initiatives;
- Be the expert in the proposed future state business processes and lead/support/contribute to the following activities:
- Development, maintenance and improvement of business processes, utilising BPMN;
- Operational policy;
- Operational procedures;
- Correspondence development;
- The development of functional designs in collaboration with the solution vendor. subject matter experts and business owners;
- User acceptance testing development;
- Training development;
- Facilitation of process and requirements workshops; and
- Undertake change impact assessments and support change management activities.
