Digital and Technology Services (DTS) work in close collaboration with various business units to deliver a range of information and communication technology projects that support key business objectives.? ?Digital and Technology Services (DTS) Operations are responsible for managing and resolving technological incidents and requests across Department of Justice NSW.

About the role

The DTS Support Officer role is accountable for second level support coming from the DTS Service Desk. The role will require support in person and over the phone to troubleshoot any desktop or end user computing device deemed supportable by DTS standards.

About you

  • Proven experience providing 2nd level support of a wide range of computer technologies including desktop hardware, software, operating systems, SOEs, email systems and office automation products in a medium to large ICT environment of five thousand or more clients.
  • Ability to problem solve through analytical thinking coupled with incident management skills.
  • A strong customer focus and ability to effectively communicate in technical and non-technical language.
  • Ability to effectively manage your workload, competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast paced environment
  • Experience servicing a wide ranging customer base, including clients with disabilities, clients requiring remote assistance and clients with premium support expectations.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate or equivalent experience
  • At times, able to be a part of standby rosters and work after hours for projects
