We are seeking a SP Systems Administrator who will be responsible for overall systems setup, configuration, and day to day operation.  The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the project is configured per project standards and responsible for general overview of project SP implementation/execution as described in project Procedures and Workflows.

 

Additional Duties:
- Coordination and Liaison with PIM for system improvements and modifications.
- Implementation and setup of SP Systems aligned to SP systems setup of other project EPC’s.
- Regular contact with other project SP Project Administrators to ensure project  procedures and workflows are being adhered to.
- Coordination with project Lead Discipline Engineers and designers as required.
- Input into development, and implementation, of new procedures, guidelines and workflows, as required.
- Review and approval of project Job Notes prior to issue for use as fit for purpose..
 
Industry Specific Experience:
- 2+ Years SmartPlant PID,S3D and SPIOP use at an administrator level
- 7-10 Years EPC engineering/design
 
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Tertiary degree, preferably engineering background or equivalent experience.

 

IT Skills:
- Required skills
- Ability to install SPPID, S3D and SPIOP software and configure for project use, including but not limited to
- Software installation and configuration
- Project creation and archiving, backups, and restoration
- Project configuration; Permission groups, project  hierarchy, WBS
- Catalogue and Symbol Development
- Drawing and Report Configuration
- General drafting abilities, all aspects
- Drawing and report creation and extraction
- Ability to create formatted load templates for SDV and SPO translation and import.

 

Additional beneficial skills
- Knowledge of SmartSketch
- Familiarity with SP translators and data/model import/migration concepts and workflows
- SQL Server and Oracle database familiarity
- Knowledge of SmartPlant systems disconnected Workshare setup, configuration and management
- Ability to provide training and instruction if required
- Strong change management culture

- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to adapt standard workflows to varying project requirements, as required
