About the Role
We are currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our highly successful and growing Digital Advisory team. This is a great opportunity to work across a variety of projects in the digital space and be part of one of Australian's leading and well established consulting organisations. This role is a Permanent position that would be ideal for a mid level Enterprise Architect looking to build his profile in a consulting environment and looking to grow within an organisation.
Duties
The Enterprise Architect will provide high level services to Clients in the development of architectural representations, and/or the management of these in order to provide understanding, and communication of, the current situation, the desired future state and the pathways to that future state. This can be at either, an enterprise level, a divisional level or a significant project level. Other responsibilities would involve:
- Application of a structured architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the Enterprise.
- Design and development of high quality business solutions and other projects including a solid programme of work to cover the technical and business aspects.
- Assisting clients in the development of key architectural processes.
- Accountability for defined assignments/projects often involving immediate action or medium term planning of human and other resources.
- Generate Strategic Plans, Fit Gap, Feasibility Studies and Business Case reports.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience, qualities and skills:
- Strong work experience in business or information technology, IT systems, systems design, architecture with experience in a consulting or IT services organisation.
- Specialist level competence/knowledge in at least one expertise area.
- Fully competent in one or more related areas (business, application, information and/or technology).
- Experience across cyber security applications/tools.
- Specialist knowledge of at least one industry or segment, coupled with strong analytical skills.
- Certification in or knowledge of key architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or similar is highly desirable.
- Understand business/organisation/marketing context of business solutions.
- Able to identify the architectural views and level of detail required to meet the client objectives.
- Able to apply understanding of project lifecycles to advise and guide the structure and make-up of projects.
- Able to contribute in a number of areas outside of specialty.
- Can adapt and apply existing techniques and methodologies to new uses.
- Strong communication and negotiating skills both written and verbal.
- Able to communicate and present to senior management.
- Solid understanding and use of applicable notations (UML, etc).
- Ability to travel to various client sites around Sydney and NSW.
