This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior PHP Engineer who wants to work on a green field project that will enable you to build out a very strong existing product. This is a massively successful organisation within the Australian market and now is looking to scale out the product into other regions and industries. With massive demand for this product in the finance space we need to make sure we have the best engineers on board to build out this platform.


You will be working alongside 5 other very strong engineers who collaborate and bounce ideas among each other in a fantastic open manner. They are looking for someone that has an ambition to move into a lead position eventually and can show those characteristics as the team grows over the coming 12 months.



The core application is built on PHP so key requirements include:
• Laravel experience highly beneficial
• Skilled knowledge on AWS in particular EC2
• Experience with the LAMP Stack
• React experience highly regarded
• Working on queue systems – RabbitMQ & Gearman in Microservices architecture
• Experience processing large amount of text data
• Proficient with Docker
• Previous experience developing highly scalable code
• Testing experience highly beneficial


This will be a full stack role with slightly more focus on the back end. You will have a strong interest in working with newer technologies and developing your skillset.
